A 2025 mathlete shared:

“I really enjoyed the chance the Mathlete Competition gave me to be competitive and improve a skill that isn't highlighted very often in mainstream academic settings. As a blind student, I often am doing more work or having to learn twice as much to be able to academically succeed. It was really fun and motivating to be in a program that is highlighting my skills, pushing me to get better at them, and giving me the opportunity to be competitive.”

Nemeth In a Box Participant shared:

"I had a lot of fun participating in Nemeth in a Box. I think what I enjoyed most though, is the puzzle, "Which one Doesn't Belong?" I enjoyed this because I got to give out my own opinion on which one I thought was different, and I also got to listen to other's opinions and choices."
