Upstate Goes Pink is the university’s campaign to support Strength in Pink. Strength in Pink is a community-wide movement supporting local breast cancer patients. Businesses, churches, civic groups, book clubs, schools, and anyone can participate. Behind every breast cancer diagnosis is a person—a mother, a neighbor, a coworker—navigating one of the hardest seasons of her life. For many patients in our region, the challenge extends far beyond the diagnosis itself: delayed screenings, mounting treatment costs, and gaps in coverage that turn an already difficult journey into an overwhelming one.
